The Boileroom is one of Guildford’s premier evening venues. Margarita worked closely with the Boileroom to offer a ‘Mindfulness Meditation’ class.
The Boileroom have generously offered to waive any fees, allowing Margarita to bring this course to Guildford and offer free entry.
Discover how to manage negative self-talk and over-thinking. Get in-touch with your senses and experience the present moment with calmness, curiosity and compassion. In the weekly, engaging and fun sessions you will practise how to skillfully deal with life.
Each session will focus on exploring different techniques for self-improvement. Together we will explore gentle movement, mindfulness principles, and meditation. You can visit any of the weekly sessions to discover practical hints and simple techniques to make it easier for you to manage your busy lifestyle.
Margarita will lead you on a journey of discovery. She is passionate about making the world a better place by utilising mindful techniques. Her approach is completely secular, welcoming people of all religions and backgrounds.
This is a relaxed group event where newcomers are always welcome. Past attendees can also drop-in at any time. Each week we will explore different techniques, such as:
- How to start loving yourself
- Using and observing your senses: dealing with emotions, stress, eating, movement
- How to be mindful throughout your day
- How to break negative habits that no longer benefit you
- Core skills for self-control (patience, trust, acceptance, letting-go, non-judging, beginner’s mind, etc.)
- What is mindfulness and how does it help me?
You will leave each session feeling calmer and more curious about life!

The class is held on Thursdays 6:30pm – 7:30pm in the upstairs meeting room at The Boileroom. Access is through the rear gate and up the stairs. Parking is free in the surrounding streets after 6.00pm.
